Ordering/Returns Terms and Conditions

When ordering from The Runners Shop you can be assured that everything is secure and reliable. When you enter your contact, delivery and card details the page is safely encrypted which means that when your data is sent to our secure payment providers it is impossible for anyone to intercept and use your details

Collecting your order direct from The Runners Shop

You can also collect your order in person directly from our shop in Toronto. Choose the appropriate option from the basket page when ordering.

Please note that when you pick up your order in person you need to bring along the following items:

  • Order confirmation
  • Proof of identification (e.g. driving license, photographic ID)

Stock Levels

Generally all listed products are in stock. If you order an item which has recently sold out we will email you straight away to let you know. In most cases we can re-order goods very quickly.

All in-stock orders are shipped within 24 hours (orders received on Friday and through the weekend will be shipped on Monday). If there will be a delay with your order, we will email to let you know.


Returns and exchanges are available within 7 days of purchase, for regular-priced items and must be received in new condition, without sign of wear and in their original box with all tags and attachments that originally came with your purchase. 

Some items are non returnable. Including: underwear and headphones for hygiene reasons, and track/cross-country spikes. Gift cards are also non-returnable.

Original shipping costs will not be refunded and a restocking fee of 3% will be deducted from the final refund. 

Please do not tape or deface the product's packaging. If the product's packaging is not intact or damaged we will not be able to re-sell the product as new so a full refund will not be given.

We cannot exchange or refund the purchase of underwear, socks, food, drinks and other products for everyday consumption. Clearance items are final sale.

We will return all monies by the same method of payment originally used.  If the original payment was via PayPal we will credit the PayPal account that the order was placed with.

*consider purchasing a tracking number for your return shipment since we cannot provide a refund for an item if we do not receive it. 

 Who pays postage on returned items?

Unfortunately we are unable to reimburse any postage costs on items being returned to us.

Christmas returns

It can be hard to get things right so we are providing exchanges and store credit refunds for your Christmas gifts that were purchased in November and December until January 15, 2022. Items must be received in new condition, without sign of wear and in their original box with all tags and attachments. 

Our returns policy will revert to the standard 7 day period for items purchased after December 31st.
