A Message from the Owner

After 45 years in the same location I made a bold decision, as the new owner of The Runners Shop, to move the store to a more visible and vibrant location at Bloor and Spadina this February. 

Three weeks later we are dealing with a global pandemic. Who could have anticipated such an event? 

 Despite the questions, fear and chaos that the Coronavirus is causing, optimism is strong at The Runners Shop and within our Toronto running community.  

Getting outside and enjoying your running or walking is one of the few things that has not been cancelled. With gyms closed, schools closed, entertainment venues closed, work places closed…running beckons with the simplicity it has always offered. 

 Just put on your running shoes and head out the door. 

We are here to support you in any way we can. If you have questions of any kind regarding your running or walking please do not hesitate to ask us. 

For now, the store remains open and ready to assist you. Please only visit us if you are in good health and take all necessary precautions.

 If you are not comfortable shopping in-store, we are offering free shipping in the GTA and ALL online orders will receive a 10% discount (already applied).

I am grateful to be part of the Toronto/Canadian Running community and am confident we will get through this together.
